Its obvious that atleast in positions 5-4-3-2 that the Knicks want size. This is a 6-9 SG who has a LOT of skills. You pair him up with a Yogi Ferrell and the KNicks walk out with two second rounders who can really shoot the basketball--one who creates mismatches at the 2 the other a speed PG who can break you off the dribble. Not looking for stars looking for talented skilled players who fit. It s much easier for us to get low 1's or 2s than it is to trade in the NBA. RIP Crushalot😞

I like this dude. He isn't quick, but he is long and can shoot the ball. How good of a defender is he?
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Very solid defense and rebounding and excellent long range shooting. Hes ranked in the 40's on both mocks so he has some interest but also lies in the area we can look at. Very cerebral player who has improved. Interesting looking player -- reminds a little of C-Budinger. Maybe old school Craig Elo. I think his NBA potential would be determined by his D and his mental toughness. |

What you like is he would be a mismatch at the 2 guard every game essentially a kp at the 2 RIP Crushalot😞

Were looking 35 and down so you dont get to start with a Mercedes--you need the barn find. If I had my .02 he will not be attainable--he can bring the ball up he does a lot of things--you are counting on teams bypassing seniors here in this draft. This year the senior class is the best in years so the 2nd round picks have more value-+ their cheap roster spots right? So it will be a wait and see. I think you make a list of 10 by June and see if you can get 1 or 2 and then see who is not drafted. The Spurs are so good at using late 1 and rd 2 picks they built great teams with them. Not saying he won't but we're already making threads about who we should draft when we don't have any draft picks. I actually think he will find a way to get a pick or two as well but most likely will be in the 2nd round. |

I would be extremely aggressive locating 2-4 guards who can come in here and play off the bench or atleast be available. Requirements are shooting % @ close to 50-40-80 or very close-- NBA physical assets and statistically relevant defense and rebounding to teams that win.
We need a 6-0 6-2 guard who can shoot the three handle penetrate and have the physical ability to create separation. The best pure PG I have seen this year is Emmett Naar but like a few others--if he came into the draft--it wouldn't be for where we could acquire. I really like Yogi Ferrell(not on draft sites and Uthoff--and then there are guys under that. That would give us a 6-9 shooting guard who can really shoot it but also would create mismatch disaster and then Yogi who is a bigger stronger version of Ish Smith but a guy who can really shoot the 3 ball. RIP Crushalot😞

An inch or so in height probably drops him from rd 1 into rd 2 but the same for Isiah Thomas who was picked 60. Hes powerful has great body control creates separation at will and is a big time shot maker and excellent 3 point shooter--almost everything you want from a PG in the NBA now. We dont have PG who make others better--I think this guy can. RIP Crushalot😞
