Thought we could use a thread for all the upcoming trade deadline chatter. This feels like a trade deadline there could be a lot of movement - lots of unhappy players, lots of teams that think they need to make one big move and shake things up.

There are some interesting situations around the league that bear watching:

Markieff Morris - benched in Phoenix, has called out the management, miserable, almost certainly getting traded, possibly as early as January 15th

Ty Lawson - benched in Houston, miserable, almost certainly getting traded, possibly as early as January 15th

Brandon Jennings - a guy who wants to start and is a UFA this summer, stuck behind Reggie Jackson in the rotation, playing the good soldier now, but reportedly wants out badly. (also reportedly wants to play for Knicks badly)

Derrick Rose - he's not the same player anymore, Chicago looks like the second best team in the East some nights and looks terrible the next. He's got a huge contract that their management is supposedly quietly trying to move.

Joakim Noah - benched in Chicago, miserable, looks like he's lost at least one step, maybe two. Upcoming UFA this summer. Bulls are also supposedly asking around to gauge value of Taj Gibson and even Pau Gasol.

Greg Monroe - believe it or not there are some rumors he's already on the block as Milwaukee supposedly regrets that signing and doesn't like the pairing of Parker and Monroe on the frontline.

Ryan Anderson - The Pelicans are a mess, he's an upcoming UFA and is the kind of stretch 4 that could help a playoffs team. Feels like he'd be a good fit on Boston to me.

Pelicans guard situation - they've got Jrue Holiday, Tyreke Evans, Eric Gordon - seems like one too many and they need to make a shakeup there.

Jahlil Okafor - rumors that the Sixers think the Noel/Okafor frontcourt doesn't work. Okafor coming off the bench right now. Embiid coming back next season and Okafor and Embiid can definitely not play together.

Washington Wizards - have disappointed this season after some picked them to be a top 4 team in the East.

DeMarcus Cousins - the big domino that's been out there since the summer.

Morris got a lot of run last night as he and Tyson were manning the center spot with Len out. I didn't watch the game but he was putting up good numbers. I wonder if he gets traded for Anderson.

I wonder if Chi would bring back Crawford. A Noah for Craw, stephenson and Aldridge would work.

This is the first i'm hearing of B.Jennings wanting out badly and wanting to play for the Knicks badly. I know it's all just player talk but all i was hearing was how he wants to stay in Detroit.
