Dalembert and Dampier? The two D's of D! That's a good deal for Philly... Which leaves GS's front line shattered. One sided...

not good for us. we probably have to scramble to get a deal. they mentioned getting crawford. but we need to beef up the frontline wtih deisel running through the east. i am not saying that dampier would have been the ultimate answer since the only center that can really get with shaq is ming but he is FAR better than muhammed trying to guard the deisel which is going to be a sorry sight. the problem with the philly deal is that they are giving up robinson. he is their second option and most nights their only option since ai has been injured a lot last year. he is also on his last year of his contract. the smart thing to do is to hold him out until the middle of the season and trade him as a "gun for hire". teams who need outside shooting to supposedly go over the top will give better deals. but the sixers getting dampier is not bad since they will have a legit center since mutumbo was in his mid 30's. he will get MANY rebounds. if this is true and i am isaih, then we need to concentrate on walker ( we need rebounding and low post scoring) and crawford who i think can both be had. other teams are getting better and we have a chance to get better. it does'nt make sense for us to sit on our hands.

the Sixers and Warriors were going to pull off a sign-and-trade that would send Erick Dampier to Philly for Glenn Robinson and Kyle Korver. ..... That’s a better deal than the garbage package that Isiah is reportedly offering of Nazr Mohammaed and Othella Harrington

Wait- Golden State just shipped NVE out because he has an attitude problem and they're going to bring in another malcontent? And I'm sorry, but Othella and Nazr might not be Shaq and Kobe, but they've both shown themselves to be upstanding citizens, hard workers and team players. An offer of Shandon Anderson and Moochie Norris would be Garbage!

I wonder how that new Crawford trade proposal without Moochie looks like...

Golden state does not need Big Poop, Mullin should just Let Damp walk. He can use the savings to prop up other fegan clients on the team. 9-10 million dollars is a lot of damm money fella.

What's Big Dawg's contract like? If its longer term, why would they take on that much money.

Supposedly is an expiring contract.

Thats an interesting question. Will they be able to better NY's offer? Ours is already bigger than the Hawks' so we'll see...

They may not give Damps a better offer than the Knicks will, BUT they may have a better chance of being able to offer the Warriors players in a sign and trade that the Warriors want.
