Really this is a lot of fun to see this team come together and KP just BALLIN. We haven't had a draft pick this exciting since Ewing and it's a great feeling. I wanna see continued growth and hopefully a winning record.

They were stunned by that last 2 games against the Knicks. I read that Pop was prepping the Spurs for the Knicks cuz he knew that we were a serious threat to beat them. He wasn't playing around and taking us lightly at all. The team chemistry is only getting stronger, which is a good sign for us and not for any teams in the East.

I think some of us were talking about how having Melo could be a big plus if this team ever got it going because few teams have a player like that to help push the team even higher in a post season match up. With a solid cast around him, Melo has been able to raise his game and if they keep this up that could be a very scary thing for some of these teams to have to deal with. I see that teams are trying to focus on stopping Melo, meanwhile KP and the rest of the team are picking them apart. IMO this is even better than the 50 win team in terms of being able to sustain this kind of performance. That team had a lot of early wins but it wasn't a sustainable model.

I don't think any team in the top 4 will want to play the Knicks in the first round. We have one of the best players in the East in Melo. Melo can get hot and average 30ppg for the series and pass to teammates and beat pretty much any team in the first round. And that's before you mention KP or Rolo's D or Afflalo's ability to get hot... Knicks are not the type of team anyone will want to face in the playoffs.

I think they can get as high as 7. I don't know if I see them getting all the way up to 6... but getting to 7 and dodging Cleveland in the first round would be nice. It'd be nice to dodge the Bulls, too. But anyone other than Cleveland or the Bulls I think Knicks could beat in a 7 game series in the East.

Didn't they beat the Heat one year when he did that? Resting his players is smart - sometimes he's done it for standoffish reasons. He still tries like hell to win the games. As evidenced by their +14 point differential, which is a crazy number.
