Since we will have our draft pick in 2017 I thought Id claim FIRST on this kid... ;-)
Hes an amazing prospect (not an unknown commodity in Europe even at his age)... great skill set and talent level!
Isaiah Hartenstein is a German 7-footer not even 18 years old yet.
He has been thinking about going to some US colleges Duke was said to be interested but he decided against it at this stage.
Hes well aware of the US lifestyle and everything as his dad is from the US so there should not be much adjustment for him based on the culture.

If there was ANY chance for the Knicks to pick that kid Id go nuts!!! Him and KP6 would be an amazing duo for the next 10-15 years!!!

Watching this video please keep in mind that this is top Fiba competition at his age level.
Also he has signed a contract with Zalgiris Kaunas a top European Basketball address so... he should be able to learn some valuable lesson in the next two years!

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

Would he be available as a late #1 in the 23-30 range???

Aren't we all expecting at this point to have a playoff team next year?

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

Difficult to predict where he will be picked. He is one of those guys that may blow away scouts in the predraft tournaments. On the other hand right now he is playing on a lower league team coached by his dad so its not the prime exposure like with Hezonja this year!

I would guess we are picking late next year as well ;-) on the other hand you never know what Phil can generate! :-)

Reminds me of a springier Troy Murphy. He would've fit in well at Duke.
