The final buzzer, Dwyane Wade said, is the ultimate arbiter for an NBA player.

So no, he said Wednesday, he paid no attention to the NBA officiating report that said the Miami Heat benefited from two referee errors at the end of Monday's overtime victory against the Indiana Pacers.

Wade happened to be involved in both plays, first on what the NBA said was an illegal screen that freed him for the game-tying layup at the end of regulation, and then on what the NBA said should have been a rebounding foul on Wade on a scramble that resulted in Heat possession in the waning seconds of overtime.

"A lot of things are in the moment," Wade said before the Heat faced the New York Knicks at AmericanAirlines Arena. "And if you ask players, we feel there's a lot of things that happen that don't get called, that do get called that don't happen."

It is the second close game in the past two weeks that the Heat and Wade benefited from what the NBA later ruled to be officiating errors. In the Heat's 106-101 Dec. 26 road victory over the Orlando Magic, the NBA ruled that Wade was sent to the foul line on a final-minute play that should not have been ruled a foul on Magic center Nik Vucevic.

Of course, prior to that, the NBA ruled the Heat was victimized by a traveling violation that should have been called on Washington's Bradley Beal in a close home loss to the Washington Wizards on Dec. 7.

"You end up, in this league, you end up getting both sides of the coin," Wade said Wednesday. "We've been on a lot of sides, of some not getting called this year late in games. It doesn't matter."

This one still continues to amaze me.

Not only did he "will" the ref to give him a delayed call, but...

...Wade essentially stopped a potential break for Miami where KP and Lopez might have been left in the dust trying to run up the court to defend.

Unbelievable.

Here's hoping for Melo's continued dishing, Afflalo's continued swishing, RoLo's continued picking, Jose's continued cutting, and KP's continued everything.

New Year, new team. Beat those Miami Phucks!

Seems to be the most current comment out there at this point.

I'm going on the assumption that he will be on the court.
