How about we rid ourselves of Calderon and one of the bigs for Lawson and a draft pick?

To be honest Nalod, since we don't have a first rounder for the next draft, I would go for a mid level pick. Lawson is due a lot of money and Rockets don't really have a use for him

Houston giving a pick away to get rid of an expiring deal? And take on Jose's extra year?

Lawson is due about $13 million and they have no use for him. Calderon has a much smaller deal and he can be serviceable in that system. If they elect to resign Howard, Calderon would be the perfect guard to feed him the ball

I prefer Rondo:::))). Lawson would be a gamble, but it would be worth it as a short term remedy. The more games we are able to win is the more attractive we will become to FAs. Jackson is a master when it comes to dealing with problem players like Lawson. Rodman too was a alcoholic

Jackson seemed to want to build a very high character team this past offseason. Lawson has been criticized for his work ethic etc. and also has major issues with alcohol. He has talent but he is also a free agent at the end of this offseason. I don't think Houston takes on an extra year of salary with Calderon so who do you move? I don't know if he is worth it at this point.

Trade makes no sense for either team. Season is nearly half over meaning Lawson is due $6.5 . Calderon still has $12 to go when you factor in next year. Houston would want an asset for it to make any sense and Jax aint jeopardizing team harmony by bringing in a pg undersized to his liking who has had a real issue with acohol and is unfamilar with the triangle

calderon is a terrible fit for that (fast system).
