I don't say fire coach for sake of firing.. Fish deserves the chance he's getting $15mil

However most nyk fans think we'd need to see something in improvements outside of stud KP
to DJ it does not mean the Knickerbockers need to make NBA playoffs. But we need to see
what coach direction can take team development.

Unsure if DFish is capable yet, seems like coach is a project here but it may work in long run
I don't believe the long run should be 4-5 years. Always maintained that the times of having 5+
years to develop a team is long gone in pro sports.

Fisher needs too much pro seasoning to me to wait on Knicks developing an Identity OR a defense minded team.

Tibs will be fine in NY more than people give him credit for cause
he's an original Knick coach (assistant). Not everyone can play OR coach here.

Tibs as coach in playoffs is Not as bad as folks believe
keep in mind several yrs, he had his best player D.Rose unavailable & still BULLs competed ok.
while developing young bulls talent.

D.Fisher has yet to imprint any single thing NOR identity to any of the young knickerbocker players/rookies.
Give the new rookies 1 yr I get that.

However Knicks do not need D.Fisher to be around here for 5-6 yrs before any results in development.

There are plenty of teams such as Celtics, Hornets, Jazz etc.. whom has young players and coaches doing
more with about same talent as knicks.

Derick Fisher is a project as a coach & whom needs that ? in NewYork. Of course give him 1-2 years
but I still maintain DFish is solely here for the $money $$$, and cause of Phil Jackson.

I see nothing special from Fisher as a coach as we seen as a PG player (5 NBA title rings)

Jason Kidd got banged up teams in NETs now Milw. Bucks, injuries and so on
you can see what kind of coach Mr. Kidd is and though Bucks do not have the record
that team will be in NBA East playoffs this 2015/16 season.

Same said for Brad Stevens Celtics. ?? Whom star do that team has eh ?

Fisher isn't concerned with Knickerbocker history, its fan base, etc.
Fisher is a nice guy ..personally we don't know him. But all in all not all guys from Phil J. systems is
right for next level coaching jobs.

Fisher at most will be unimpressive this season and next,
maybe I have some sour grapes cause a former Knick Patrick Ewing paid a lot more dues than DFisher
and Ewing is still an assistant coach, wherever Ewing is teams improved & done pretty decent as
you see in Char. Hornets currently.

Ewing deserves some NBA job lead coaching more than Derrick Fisher,
thus I rest my case. Otherwise I am very happy with Knicks KP and Melo working together with team presently.

Carmelo can't be blamed so far, he's older playing smarter, passing ball, rebounding and occasional defense even
in losses.

That's more that I can say for Derrick Fisher philosophy on improvements and getting guys to buy in
cause his verdict is out On what the hell DFish is doing as far as game plan & substitutions, ect..

if you need to win better and learn D' the defense is one of thangs Phil & Tibs can agree on!

Look at record of other coaches outside of Steve Kerr
whom were under Phil J, record isn't so good.

Its also counting Byron Scott whom at least has some success as NBA Coach
(New Orleans, Nets)
