Over and over and over again. I know he doesn't have foot speed but this is freakin atrocious.

So does RoLo....KP is the only big on the roster who guards the perimeter
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

They probably do, it's one of the reasons, besides the hideous turnovers and fouls, he is not starting and gets his minutes limited. Can't understand why some want him to start.

The thing that drives me crazy is O'Quinn often holds on to the ball too long. Sometimes its necessary because no one is open, but too many times he waits too long only to make a bad decision.
He has shown to be a good passer but he can kill the momentum as well. Still would like to give him time, the constant roster shuffling I believe is affecting some players more than others.

Fwiw last night the Boston announcers complimented KP for his passing saying the ball doesn't stay in his hands long and he keeps things moving

yeah for sure. Those momentum killers are gruesome and just unnecessary.

He holds the ball waiting for some one to make a cut or slash to the basket like they are suppose to do in the triangle, which at times he delivers a really good pass to a slasher. The problem is, no one does it consistent.

Every one on this team plays very slow at times, the reactions are slow and methodical, either because they are learning, or scared to make a mistake knowing you might get yank for several games if you do

Are you guys talking about KOQ defending the PnR by dropping back? If so this could be his looking to ICE the PnR by taking away the roll aspect of the play. It leaves the player that set the screen open but takes away the intent which is to get to the basket. He may be backing off too much tho. Still it is a defensive tactic. The problem is that now teams are using it to take a 3 point shot, so there still has to be a close out by the big to at least challenge that shot.

The problem is actually worse in that our guards have not always been defending the PnR Properly in the ICE technique. They are not forcing the dribbler towards the sideline or help effectively. SO they end up chasing and unable to get back in the play. This forces our bigs to STAY back rather than do the ICE and then after the pass go towards the shooter. The guard has to see the screener and also feel for the pick and force his man to only one direction but our guards in particular Jose isn't able to do ANYTHING to slow down the dribbler or direct him in any way. So it breaks down the ICE technique.

The point was about execution.
