I'd my memory is right he was down right elite. This offense is what I expected. His problem is defense. He was always a good complementary offensive player outside of last year. I would like to see him pass more and in the past he has been able to avg around 3 ast per game. Improving his assists and getting to the line more would jump his offense even more.
Also, I would like to comend him for posting career highs in rebounds.
Yeah, heading into last night AA was averaging 1.26 pts per post up possession and shooting 66% on post ups. Elite numbers.
The way he is playing off Melo and KP shows a smart player in AA, good recognition from Melo and KP, and a good scheme from Fisher.
Re: the rebounds, I've noticed with Rolo playing less KP's rebounds are down and AA's are up. I think KP is doing the box out work Rolo had been doing and now AA is benefitting instead of KP on the rebound numbers. But the important thing is the team is boxing out and getting the rebound. For the first time in years, I feel like we are seeing true team work from this team.
