As you can see Camby was tough to reate lol. It really all depends on how healhy he can stay. But even at his best he is on the fringes on of the B list.

Ben Wallace should be a power forward!

But- what about Jermain O'Neal?? Did Indiana not have him playing center?

And- what about our friend Marcus Camby- he's got to be above Dalembert.

You put this list together and its making me depressed about getting Dampier!

Nah, Jermaine O'Neal was moved to the 4 spot last season with Foster playing center.

We had a long thread on this in the Zone where everyone ranked the top 10 centers we would take if our goal was to win as many games as possible NEXT YEAR. (You can go to the site in my signature or TMS's to get there)

My voting was

1. Shaq
2. Ben Wallace
3. Yao Ming
4. Jamal Magloire
5. Erick Dampier
6. Brad Miller
7. Mark Blount
8. Theo Ratliff
9. Mehmet Okur
10. Marcus Camby (too much of an injury risk)
11. Eddy Curry
12. Zydrunas Ilgauskas
13. Rasho Nesterovic
14. Samuel Dalembert
15. Etan Thomas

The overall voting was

1. Shaq (120 pts)
2. Ben Wallace (110)
3. Yao Ming (104)
4. Jamal Magloire (87)
5. Zydrunas Ilgauskas (75)

7. Brad Miller (74)
8. Erick Dampier (72)
9. Theo Ratliff (53)
10. Samuel Dalembert (41)
11. Mark Blount (35)
12. Rasho Nesterovic (31)
13. Vlade Divac (28)
14. Eddy Curry (26)
15. Mehmet Okur (18)
16. Michael Olowokandi (2)
16. Jeff Foster (2)

First of all, you seem to always have a problem with anything related to those forums.
Second, if Martin or Andrew have a problem with it, I'm sure they could tell us on their own thank you very much

1. Shaquille O'Neal
2. Duncan
3. Yao Ming
4. Ben Wallace
5. Jamaal Magloire
6. Marcus Camby
7. Ilgauskas
8. Erick Dampier
9. Brad Miller
10.Theo Ratliff

I agree with some of BRIGGS's rankings...

1. Shaq (there's a reason he's the MDE)
2. Duncan (if playing center)
3. Yao (I think will move up very soon)
4. Ben Wallace (I see a decline after next season; he's a bit older now)
5. Big Z
6. Dampier (At least last year he was this high)
7. Miller (EXTREMELY underrated. He played for a top tier team and off the bench posted triple doubles and excellent numbers. He should move up with playing time)
8. Curry (Consistency! The NBA isn't a first half game!)
9. Dalembert (needs more PT)
10. Magloire

He's either an angry little kid or a grumpy old man. (I've been trying to figure out which.) I've posted links to other forum discussions when it's relevant several times on several forums and never had a problem from anyone. Obviously Briggs is the only one with the problem, but if it means that much to him, I'll take the link off. (I'm always willing to compromise.)

it's the way things go on the Internet. One forum will rise one day, replacing another and so ever. I used for instance to post on other forums, and started to be a regular reader here about 2 yrs ago, and then a regular poster. Things may change one day (ie : if playa comes back with his multiple identities ), and I'd then move to another forum to start all over again.

Thing is, we'll soon know a lot of fans on the net, and as we may switch from one forum to another, we'll know each other more and more. So see the net as a global forum. This forum (which I appreciate and I'd like to thank Andrew and Martin) is for me a room of the house. There are plenty of rooms, and we may soon meet somewhere else.

sorry for the off topic stuff.

I think this forum will remain the best one as long as the Admin commitment remains the same. The problem with all the other forums out there is that either they are not managed at all and trolls take over completeley or they are mismanaged and people can't post normally at all.

Different forums have different pros and cons. I think there's less arguing at the Zone Forums than there is on other forums, which could be viewed as good or bad depending on what you're looking for. The MSG forum is poorly managed; a lot of people have left or been banned.
