Fastest player on the team, dwill got 6 minutes, grant got 3 min. The coaching staff goes into this game stresses the importance of playing a much quicker pace. So in order to do this will bench our fastest players.

Sasha plays 18 minutes, seraphin gets a DNP.

Do you really think this is how you build chemistry

Not only that but look at Williams the dude is huge like lebron huge. I think he should be starting he's the only guy on the team that drives to the hoop and draws fouls to get to the line. He's a defensive nightmare, something needs to be done cause our starting line up is not working.

I was happy KOQ got time!

I have no clue what Fisher & his team see.

Grant has been struggling. No idea if its confidence that he should be getting from the staff or something he needs to find on his own. I'll give Fisher & Co a pass on Grant.

But I still struggle to understand what they are doing with Williams. He should be the 6th man off the bench, and he should get the coaching staff to be behind him 100% and give him 20-30 games to work things out. He made a nice pass last night, so he's not clueless.

Fish gonna Fish, you know the answer already!

When the whole board knows why there's a lack of prep, lack urgency, lack of sense of role, lack of rotational sense...points to one dude.

Roster sucking is one thing. That'll be addressed at the trade deadline and off season. Just laying down and dying against Utah, and showing signs of the same complacency in Sac is whole other story.

These first quarter deficits aren't just having a bad team, it's lack of readiness and energy from the starters. Direct reflection of players not knowing the gameplan or lack there of.

The talent is on this roster I think most people agree this is a slightly above 500 team.... I mean look how good we looked at the start of the season... Now everyone has lost their confidence. You have to blame the coach. Williams looked like he was about to break out at the start of the season. And fish decides to play the teachers pet in LT over him... I think we can all agree Williams is 1,000 times more a talent then LT. Williams should be getting 25 a game not LT, LT should be playing 6 min a game

Vujacic has no business getting minutes. A 19% 3-point shooter, poor transition defense. He literally brings nothing except mentoring KP, which he can do from the bench.

see i cant take this team seriously...cuz theyre not good. they simply dont have the players. this talent is good enough to win 35-40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs to get annihilated in the 1st rd. im not expecting much.
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

The folks who have no clue are the ones who look at what Grant has done the last two games and think he would have done anything special yesterday with more minutes.

Grant has a major confidence issue at this point. He's had moments this year where he's been a pretty good performer, so you know he can play, but he is the type of player who is going to less aggressive if he thinks his performance will hurt the team- thus, he shies away from shots he would have always taken in college.

I've seen KP pull back on some open 3's, too, but he is clearly a more confident player at this point than Grant is.

I've seen more deference to Anthony, recently, especially when he puts himself into position for an entry pass, even he is in a midrange position or beyond.

Calderon, Gallo, and KP all dump it in to him without thinking. Our spacing also looks terrible at times when we are looking to force feed him, too.

I just think that Grant, a guy who is used to running the show, is having some issues at this point, and until he can be confident on a consistent basis, his minutes are really going to be limited.

I agree.....I think if we finally get a solid starting 5 (which I've said from day 1 should include DWill), our bench will be a weak link. But I rather our bench than our starters. We have to find ways to have a better start. Earlier in the year, we were playing great, because expectations were high. Players knew we had some talent on the team. Now the mood is low....Melo is complaining....and the losing is piling up. This is a momentum driven league. Right now, we are on a down slope, with no answers. Fisher said he will change the lineup, just to see if that lit a fire under them. Nope....same story, different day.

For the most part- Saha's been pretty good out there the last 2 games.

Not sure what games you've been watching while the Knicks were playing in Utah and Sacramento...but it was clearly not the games I was watching if you are implying that Grant was worthy of more time on the court than Sasha.

are you guys kidding me? dwill does not know how to play anything other than an unstructured offense. he doesn't even know how to draw triangle. but yes last night's game was up and down. not SSOL mor like 4SOL, which would be in his wheelhouse. but you dont change your entire game plan for one team.

our team i think just needs to impose our style of play on the game and not bend to the other team's style of play. also...what is george karl's record against carmelo since the denver trade? i bet it's really really good. he has a thing against some players...inclusing cousins....and he knows how to beat them very well

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree
