About Charles Barkley completely kissing KPs butt from start to finish of this game. I mean, wow.

Crazy thought of the day: would Charles be a good coach? He actually had very good observations tonight, eg, knicks say they want to run but they jog up court, can't play KP at one end of court only (need to punish kings for putting omiri on him; high pick and roll w KP and melo at end of game so cousins would switch on Melo

Game recognize game, simple as that. He sees greatness growing before our very own eyes.

Whats crazy about having a HOF player as your coach?

Don't let negative fans blind your perception. At the very least, he would be a great advisor.

On that note, I find it hard to believe Fisher, Phil and his staff didn't share Chucks words of wisdom.

I think Charles would be a terrible coach. He's best as an announcer.

He likes someone on the Knicks though, he's been kissing their butt since the summer when he called them a playoffs team even before he was praising KP. Has to be someone new to the team, because he never used to

I am trying to be patient with Fisher and glad Phil didn't hire a re-tread

but it's hard not to think about alternatives. I'd like to think Phil is at least thinking about other options just in case the team regresses, and wondering who those options would be

one thing i've been thinking about lately is whether the team would be better served with a triangle coach with a forward or center's perspective.

they say you judge a coach by wins or by player development, and the good/great coaches are good/great at both. Our players are not developing: does Rolo look more fluid starting the triangle from the pinch post now than at the begining of the year? I don't know. Maybe that's supposed ot be Rambis's role but it's very frustrating to watch

He is very entertaining as an announcer, but he is very smart too. He makes a lot of good observations. My main concern is whether he has the right temperament especially if the team is struggling and trying to grow, and a GM would never be able to muzzle him

Don't see why he would not be a good assistant coach.

I think his personality is too big to be an assistant. But maybe not right to be head coach.

He's good as an announcer. He's funny and charming. What's wrong with that?

KP played a bad game last night, and Omri owned him.

It was a terrible matchup. I think it's more fair to say Fisher owned KP.

KP actually did quite well on Cousins - that matchup was much better.

right but KP has to learn how to take guys like Caspi too since they will be guarding him a lot. KP should have forced him left and made him shoot more instead of giving him the lane every time.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

I hope Chuck didn't somehow put some kind of hex on KP by speaking so highly of him. I wouldn't doubt it.

he had one bad game. Hell i will take 1 bad game out of every 30 games for a rookie. Remember he never played this much before.

True, he's been good more times than not for sure. I'm just saying...
