Brown is doing a great job. I think JVG was right about someone else in the Sixers organization addressing the media about their process other than just Brown.
Right. Hinkie hates talking to the media. They need someone to sell this plan.
He said that this process is very hard to stomach and see it through and that they have to see it through.
Lowe also had a great line:
"the sixers have no interest in signing an Arron Afflalo to 30 million dollars so the that they can look ok"
They also talked about how owner and agents are angry at hinkie because he takes advantage of them in his deals. JVG said that its bs. They try to take advantage of anybody else.
In regards to FA's not wanting to come to the sixers ... JVG - "baloni". You pay them they will come.
And, its not like he likes what their doing, he thinks its bad but he also thinks that you can't blame them for doing it, if you don't want them to do it, then stop them. He calls for lottery reform which of course would fix this stupid loophole but owners of small market teams want to chance to tank too in case they need to.
Lowe mentioned a story of how Minny had Marc Madsen flinging 3's just to keep them out of the eighth seed so that they can make the lotto.
Lowe mentioned how good the MCW trade looks ...
It went both ways but it was fair. Not the stupid bull shyt one sided posts that we get on this board from biased knick fans who are mostly clueless. This is not simple and its stupid to just say its stupid. It may be an egregious circumvention and hard to stomach. it may be a flop and it may be ridiculed in 10 years as a horrible experiment but its far from stupid. Not sure why knick fans are so passionate about if the sixers win or lose anyway. A bit weird.
so here is what phil is thinking ....
