Is Lebron no longer the world's greatest active player?
Steph Curry is having a better year than last year when he won the MVP. Can't imagine he doesn't win it again this year with the way he and the Warriors are playing. Unreal. To think, the Knicks were set to pick him before he got snatched up the pick before their pick. What a kick in the gut. Thats the problem we have in NY....It takes a special personality to survive hear, regardless of skill set. Then once they get the exposure they catch the quickest cab out of town into a safe organization that nutures their star instead of ridiculing them on a day to day basis. Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.
The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

True, we were set to pick him but even without D'Antoni's pushing the pick publicly it has come out that the Warriors wanted him for a long time. So you're starting a team from scratch. Do you take Curry or LBJ?

If we had drafted Curry, there was no way he wouldn't have gotten traded for Melo

I remember wanting him more than any other prospect we had ever had a realistic opportunity to get. Even with his weaknesses, playing for D'Antoni would have made him a fan favorite right away. He would have put up big numbers here. It would have changed the direction of this franchise. But hopefully since we suffered this long, Porzingis made it worth the wait and has the same impact we would have had from Curry. |

MDA would be working on his 2nd COY, Amare wouldn't have been logging 45 minutes at night and his knees may have held up. I think the melo trade would have still happen because melo force the trade here anyway. Walsh was doing a decent job, so it's not like it was a toxic situation like the Isiah Era. ES
