I have a 2013 Subaru and it needs a new bumper after an accident. (I'm OK - don't worry.) Allstate wants to pay for a reconditioned bumper rather than a new manufacturer's product (OEM). How do I find out if I'm entitled to an OEM bumper? I can't find anything relevant to this in my policy statement.

All replacement bumpers are aftermarket. You can request OEM but you will have to wait 4-6 weeks for it to arrive from China.

I'd rather go with the reconditioned OEM bumber than the aftermarket which never quite lines up properly.

Luckily it was only the bumber Bonn! After market bumpers on the newer model cars start at $400! I was able to find one for My old Honda $95
