Last year at my previous home at SeaDubsCentral.com, we hosted weekly player rankings with the help of a few other D-League writers. The rankings are back.

This season, D-League Digest will be collaborating with Upside and Motor to bring you this year’s round of player rankings. Each week we will rotate which site the rankings are posted at starting with week one here.

We deliberately waited a week to see how the early season panned out before putting together our first list and we believe that was the right decision to make.

Along with myself, Chris Reichert and Scott Rafferty will assist with assembling them. How does it work?

Each of us submits a Top-10 list, those rankings are averaged out and put in order accordingly.

Because draft rights players are only allowed to be called up by their parent club, they are excluded from our rankings list.

These rankings will be ongoing throughout the season and it will be a great way to track how much players increase their stock over the next few weeks. This first list was very difficult to put together with the amount of top level talent in the D-League
