The bench has been playing like they are not comfortable, the constant rotating of players looking for the right mix, it's killing us, and making the players very inconsistent, hesitant, and out of wack.

I don't like when fisher yanks guys after a couple of miss shots, or a turnover or miss assignment. The bench was flowing so smooth in the first 10 games (including preseason) when sasha and calderone sucked. They ran at will, they played fast, and clicked on all cylinders.

Now they're all looking over their shoulders, playing more half court, no penetration , no running, and grant looks less and less comfortable.

Why do you think fisher went in a different direction, he said we needed to play fast...really

Looks like the whole team was stuck in mud.

Dead road trip legs syndrome. Was contagious, and even the usually reliable high scoring bench didn't have any zip.

It happens. Hopefully the bench can regain their mojo against Orlando.

I think their needs to be an adjustment, Fisher needs to mix the bench with the starters more and continue to do a complete shift change. Let AA and Jose exit earlier and Grant and Gallo come in with the other starters. Then have AA/Jose sub in at the 9 minute mark in the 2nd.

That is a question that should be directed at Fisher. The second unit lost its swagger since after the third game. Fisher decided to tweak things playing certain guys just five minutes or none whatsoever.
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

I agree. I don't even know why he continues to use that unit minus a couple of the starters. Calderon should be used strictly as a SG with that unit and given the green light to shoot at will.

KOQ and DWill especially. They don't show that swagger they showed in the preseason and the first couple of games at all.

Team fatigue due to the road trip, and the yo-yo minutes of the bench players beginning to take it's toll.

We're only 15 games in, so expect to see sporadic play from the 2nd unit due to Fisher's button pushing. By the All Star break, you'll probably see who Fisher trusts the most, and more consistent subs.

We have a different sixth man every game

do you realize that Every single game we have seen anyone of our bench players come in as the 6th man, from galloway to seraphin, to admundson, to grant, to lance

Quinn hasn't played meaning full minutes in wks, yet he was the first guy off the bench yesterday looking totally rusty, out of sync, and useless. The top 8 guys are suppose to be the same every game.

While most teams struggle with their starting line up, we can't figure out the bench..strangest sht i ever saw

I think the bench players need grant on the floor. His ability to keep the ball moving and getting everyone in the offense moving. Is vital to players like Gallo, dwill,Thomas, saraphin,O'quinn all need a facatator... I don't care that grant can't shoot, he makes all of them better

Gallo should be more of an off guard. You limit his effectiveness when he is the lead guard on the floor.

He should sub for Aflalo at this point, especially since AA is still not back all the way. Let him play with Calderon for a time, and then bring in Grant.

They have to set Gallo up for some open looks, and he was not getting them yesterday.

Second unit players also have to adjust their game based on how they are playing/shooting, and not force things. More cutting to the basket without the ball by Williams, Thomas, and Grant.

Seraphin was looking for cutters when he was in, but did not find any, and ended up forcing some hook shots.

The second unit also has to play better D and not forget to box out.

At this point I'm almost afraid when Williams or KOQ have the ball...I have no issues if Fisher has a short leash on those two at this time, and when they are taken out it is usually because they are not playing fundamental ball in terms of D and controlling the boards.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

Is this after 4 straight wins or one bad loss?

Some had Jose relegated to be bought out after the first 5 games.
Dwilliams was the second coming after game one, and KOQ should be starting.

Process of a long season. Got whooped last nite. blame south beach?

In the 4 wins golloway, lance or grant were the first of the bench..

what exactly was fisher trying to prove by bringing sasha, quin and lance of the bench before galloway, DWILL and grant last night, was that the damn rotation you use during the winning streak..this dude is always out smarting himself

Someone in another thread/forum mentioned that once the bench started having more of Seraphin and KOQ, that they couldn't quite push things. I haven't seen enough games to really say but that makes some sense. Fisher is really playing with the lineup. Perhaps that does help us out later. We are not probably going to the final this year, so maybe not a terrible idea.

But quin was part of the running line up in the beginning and preseason.

Honestly it really doesn't matter what line up is on the floor, we simple don't run, even off of miss shots, we get the rebound and walk it up the court and try to beat teams with half court jump shots. The reason we were winning games is our defense. you can never consistently win games off strictly jump shots, weather their open or not, it's a low percentage shot.

Lance came off the bench first last night for KP (Bosh had come out for Winslow as MIA went really small, Whiteside and 4 smalls). Gallo came off the bench next. Gallo has pretty much been the first guard off the bench every night. Not sure what you are complaining about.
