1. that he will get hurt. His body type still really scares me. Does anyone feel that its inevitable that he gets hurt, at least early in his career? negative nancy'ing?

2. THE KARDASHIANS!!

You do know that if something happens to him physically, you will be forever blamed. Might want to think about that.

Heard that Bruce Caitlyn Jenner might have a crush on him...this would scare me.

reverse jinxing

I think that everyone has this same pit in their stomach. Big guys seem to get hurt a lot and a big skinny guy who plays like a guard? Scary. Why is AD so brittle?

Um, I do not think he is the right shade for the Kardashians. Maybe if he starts rocking the cornrows.

Also, have you come around on that being a possible problem for Harden?

Honestly, I think there isn't a Kardashian effect. Theses athletes date all kind of women in the limelight.

I think that Harden will come around and be the same efficient player that he usually is. Efficiency is quite consistent.

However, being in the kardashian world is as dangerous and stupid as it gets. Perhaps he deserves to fail.

Which of these things is most unlike the others?

I have trust me. We are beatened and battered. It would be amazing if he was able to avoid major injuries for at least his first ten years. I will start praying for him every night

No, it wouldn't. Plenty of tall players have played relatively injury neutral careers.

Harden is a guard.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I'm not saying it is inevitable that he gets injured. What I am saying is how amazingly great for us fans if somehow he can get through the first 10yrsnwith any major injuries.

You don't have to worry about him getting hurt early in his career at least. Kid's putting in work in the gym, working with a nutritionist, and strength and conditioning coach. You just have to worry about some fat ass teammate sitting on his head again.

As for the Kardashians....not his cup of tea. He's already stated his celeb crush is RiRi.

He likes sophisticated whores, not ones that phuck on camera.

I hear ya... for me all KP has to do is just stay healthy and at the very worst we have a boderline all star for a decade. At the best we have a franchise player.

I like KP's injury chances. He has a slight frame so he should never get too heavy. Hard to avoid foot problems when your huge. Also KP is a cat. Watch him jump, and focus on his feet when he lands. He always lands on the balls of his feet. He's got really solid physical fundamentals, and I dont just mean basktball, I mean just vanilla athletics.

I know what you mean... seeing a guy this likable, playing this well, this young who wants to be here... its so good its scary

The injury concerns are there for every player. Karl towns, Anthony Davis, lebron, it doesn't matter. It will take a lot of luck along The way but that's not exclusive to porzingis. He might be 7'3 but every body type in the nba has a history of injuries to some extent.

Hey if it could happen to Kris Kardashian, I mean Humphries, it could happen to a white guy too.

my biggest worry is teams around the league will start playing rough against him - kinda like they did with Lin, esp. Miami. And that the refs may swallow their whistles.

I hope not. We had plenty of thug basketball in the 90's!

KP needs to be his own guy. Obviously bulking up isn't really an issue for him. To compare, Anthony Davis has shoulder issues and I think that might be from over use in the gym.

He looks fantastic. What scares me is how good he can be. He's got the full package.... great family, size, work ethic, he's not afraid to complete, he's not afraid to be great. Hopefully he can be our Knicks version of Derek Jeter. Cool and squeaky clean.
