But Im not so I will just say he's playing really really well. Not sure if its getting comfy with the team, or he's played into shape a bit or what... but he's been GREAT on both sides of the ball. Passing, taking a charge, hitting shots, playing physical, using his size... Ive been really impressed. He has totally turned it around.

Im starting to think its Fisher. You follow his history and story around the league he is a very influential guy. We are seeing guys making very big adjustments and Im starting to think Fisher is a big part. Seraphin's passing and defense, Melo passing and defending more, DWILL losing minutes to guys who pass and defend... I think the message is clear and the guys buying in are playing very well.

I hope you're right, Fish. Seraphin has been mostly a disappointment this season, similar to the way Wizzy fans felt last season. If DF can turn around his game, could be a huge benefit to our team.

I dont know much about him. I might have seen him for five minutes before he was a Knick and I dont remember him being this beefy. He played very poorly early on but the last few games he has looked great (thus the tongue and cheek Briggs comment). Mostly Im just happy a guy I saw nothing from is playing much better

Seraphin has the NBA body and talent. Now it looks like he has the right attitude and is putting in the work. His ceiling is high and he needs to continue to be rewarded with consistent minutes

Spacing on the floor looks bad when DWill is out there. The more we play in the system, the more DWill looks out of place.

I agree with this. The weird part is I thought DWill looked OK at times in the Triangle during the preseason. Not sure what is up with him.

WE see a guy struggle and we label a bust. Coach plays him and we question his sanity. Then the trend presents itself.

Fist game had Dwilliams as the next Spree/Leonard and worried about him being a free agent. We slammed Jose, Melo and Seraphin as they are playing back into shape and are all playing well.
My evidence? The sum of the parts equal .500
My guess is every team a fan would micro follow will have trends of players who are playing well, and those not. Fans want instant gradification so we slam them and think moving them would be the answer.

Why did KP have such a great game? IN part because Seraphin created some space for him to move. Diaw does a similar thing for Duncan. Aldridge will do the same for SAS.

Jose shot is coming along. He had two misses early that were "in and out', or "good misses" but the point is his game is coming along as well.

I'm telling you, he is not the same player, and i'm blaming the coaching staff for that. We didn't take our first FT until in came in the game, we never even attempted a fast break(that drew a foul) until he came in the game. They obviously want him to focus on other things, but he's just not seeing enough minutes to have any impact at all.

Well, a couple of things. First, Dwill has always been known as a slow learner, right? That's his rep and there is no doubt that many things just don't click overnight. I am wondering if both the nature of the preseason as well as the opponents in the preseason lead to an environment in which DWill thrives: fast paced, not much D, helter-skelter.

Second, if you are willing and wanting to give DWill more minutes to work things out, are you also willing to put winnable games on the line? Are you willing to sacrifice losing games in place of giving DWill more minutes?

Third, for all of his FT shooting and offense, what do you think of his defense? Are you at all holding DWill accountable for his poor defensive performance and why are you willing to overlook this aspect of his performance?
