Awesome. KP has been fantastic. Can't believe he is only 20.

All those analysts were wrong when they kept telling us KP was years away! Kid isn't even shooting at a high level yet. His D and rebounding have been amazing.

Phil was smart to trust his main talent evaluator, Clarence Gaines jr. He also pointed out Gallo and Ndour! Gaines knows talent and Phil trusts him.

Especially after the summer league. He looked good but he is much better. He also put on some solid muscle weight. It is hard not to think of him as a franchise player here for the next 12-15 years.

I'm not one to start patting myself on the back but.......why not. I said the whole time that he would be a good player in year one as long as Fisher gave him floor time. Pat pat pat

barring injury. He scares me. Funny that he mentioned playing with Russell westbrooks energy. He needs to pace himself and try to avoid hitting the floor so often.

I agree. I think the Knicks might want to pick up Ndour. He was great in the summer and Gaines has a great track record of finding talent.

Do you think phil picks him at 2 or 3 over russell and ok4? Of course not! Nobody expected this level of play out of the gate, and this is with his shot being off.

In one of those Phil files he did over the offseason he said Clarence Gaines jr told him if the Knicks had the number 1 pick in the draft he would still pick KP.

The rebounds and defense.... that's what I'm shocked about. His energy suprise me too because he didn't display the energy he's showing now all through preseason or the first couple games. We have a stud...

fyi, the kid isn't even doing what we thought was his strength. When he does we will have a perennial allstar

spot on. I thought that his shooting was going to be great (and it will be) and his defense and rebounding will be a problem due to him getting rag dolled.

Gaines was saying this was the kid to take at ANY SPOT and Phil was dead set on a big man who was multifaceted! I think it would've been unpopular but Phil may have done it. KP's upside was always sky high. It was only the time frame of how long it would take.

I'm convinced Phil was looking Towns, KP, OK4 and then the guards. How many times did he have to say he had to get a big in the draft?

Once that workout video and interview came out. He was so impressive with his fluidity and how smooth he looked handling and dunking the ball. Then the way he spoke in the interview. He was just an impressive prospoect. Glad we got him and that he isn't just a workout warrior. Bit able impact games with skill, IQ, effort.

You kidding me lol I had KPorzee scouted back in 2014. He screwed me in that year's draft game because he pulled out. I had him going to the Wolves as a young forward to develop and replace KLove. http://ads.slicksports.com/forum/topic.asp?t=47605&page=1
