Maybe you should look at KP's rebounding numbers and do some math lol.

Really? lol!

So every lose ball that Robin could have gotten, KP got instead?

I'm impressed with how strong O'Quinn is as far as rebounding the ball. When he is set and has position, he gets it.

Maybe Robin doesn't have the strongest hands.

You really think that switching RoLo with O'Q is going to make any difference at all? As long as we've still got this slow backcourt defense? Seriously?

Robin boxes out his man and usually another allowing his teammates to rebound. Sometimes it appears he is boxing out three guys. It makes sense that KP's rebounding numbers are so much higher now playing with Lopez. It also helped Aldridge. I like O'Quinn off the bench. He gives up some height to most starters but in the bench role has been very effective. I also think Lopez fits really well with KP.

To me best players should play. Oquinn has played better than Lopez and deserves more minutes. We avg 87 points a game the last 3 time to panic. Take out the first game where half the bucks didn't play and were 1-4 time to panic

he boxes out and affords other a chance to rebound the ball. he is a very good rim protector. we've gone over this already.

the problem with the team is the backcourt. fix that and everything will fall into place the way it should.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Could the worst backcourt in the league have something to do with the lack of scoring? Lopez is a better interior defender than O'Quinn, and as Crush pointed out, KP and Lopez in the paint are looking very good defensively. We get the backcourt straightened out, you'll more scoring,in the paint as well.

It is panicking because Lopez did exactly what he was supposed to do last night, he shut down his man, and he dropped some buckets on him, yet you want to bench him. Have to stop approaching the game like a day trader Briggs.

Great post.

I've seen KP in the same situation...good boxing out, but no rebound.

Seem to recall one time some analyst pointing out that you know you're boxing out properly when the ball drops to the floor before a player can pick it up and only the defensive team has players near enough to snag it.

Clyde talk about the lost art of boxing out all the time.

Anybody even notice that the player with the second highest salary on the floor yesterday-the guy on the Bucks who we expressed interest in- was basically invisible for the most part yesterday?

Does Lopez get any credit at all for mixing it up with him?

I just think there is a good possibility that Oquinn is simply better than Lopez.

Or it could be that OQ is being put in the perfect position to be very successful in the minutes he has been given.

He doesn't have another big to protect he's on his own yet his play has been excellent. I'd like to think he's earned a chance to play 30 minutes

He should be getting more minutes. Why do you think Rolo should be demoted?

I won't speak for Briggs- but I think he'll agree- O'Quinn just brings more intensity & we need that in the starting line up.
