Equal parts of all of the above. End of game conditioning has always been an issue with him even "peak" 54 win season Melo.
Melo firing on all cylinders usually has a hot 1st quarter, maybe 1st half explosion, if he has one of those scoring sprees.
Even the 62 pt game he surpassed Kobe and Bernard 2 seasons ago, he was languishing hard that 4 quarter to get that final bucket to break the garden record.
His sweet spot for preserving and maintaining him for at least playing 60-70 games is around 30 minutes or less a night. I'm pretty sure Fisher will give him game's off later in the season.
