This game would be a lot closer if the Knicks hadn't shat the bed so badly from three. 6-28. Yeesh.

Hawks had an extra day rest and wanted to come back from an embarrassing loss in their own home opener.

Not a great game for the Knicks, but not a disaster. Felt like a learning experience.

Galloway and Grant played more minutes than Sasha and Jose... but I feel they should be starting. Jose might need to be put out to pasture.

The real difference is Teague specifically and Schroder as well. They have superior speed and savvy at PG. It makes it tough to deal with. All the transition baskets they got because of Teague. Still the Knicks can and will play better than this offensively.

The Atlanta guards are quick and can all make shots

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

Fisher was a PG known for his D. Im sure he sees the issue. He also spent the last few years of his career as a washed PG who was horrible on team and reliant on a shaky J. Maybe he sympathizes with Calderon?

I feel like Grant can become a Teague type someday.

Knicks wasted so many early scoring opps and too many turnovers which led to easy buckets. On top of that the execution of the Hawks had the Knicks on skates. They will learn from this. Lots of ugly game tape to use on corrections.

Fisher will keep Calderon In The starting unit until Aflalo's return. Apparently, he wants to see what a backcourt of the aforementioned will look like before changing it. By then, we might have a record of 2 wins and 10 losses

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

why did melo take 7 fukking 3's?

27 shots and 2 assists ... utterly disgusting and selfish basketball. Looked like a real leader out there.

but ... but ... he score 25 points!

so here is what phil is thinking ....

Melo got 25 tonight but (as has been stated previously) forced an awful lot of shots and had an ugly percentage. With the upgrade and versatility of the personnel around him now, it just seems like he could get 20 plus per game if he just stayed within the flow of the offense rather than relying so much on isolation.
