Great job by the bench to get the team playing right.

DWill looks like he found a home. Grant is for real. Lang has improved his game too.

O'Quinn is the new Oak or KT. I prefer Oak

KP will be fine.

Melo will be fine

D was good and interior D was much better

Scary:
Calderon was getting killed early. Nice move by Fish benching him the ref of the half

Rolo was ok.

Why LT over Early?

Great game. Can't wait to see where Porzingis is on the NBA rookie ladder. Grant looks like the real deal. Thomas was a surprise. Galloway and Williams were superb. Fisher has a lot to work with, and he did a good job tonite of subbing players. Demonstrated that you dont have to do a wholesale benching of the starters to get the job done. No starting SG, Melo off, and this team was still competitive. While Im very happy with the outcome, Bucks were missing some important players so Im looking forward to seeing how they do against the Hawks.

I honestly saw 10 maybe more which is great. I want those ast attempts at 12 or more. I think he may have made that number tonight. I remember 2-4 passes to bigs that was missed or fouled and then 3-4 passes to guards that was missed.

Also, I love that he played under 30 minutes. Melo needs to just relax and not prove to everyone that he is back. Keep passing the ball and playing D while rebounding.

Great start to the season. 7 players in double figures.

No ball watching, crisp ball movement. Scrappy play and D.

Very very encouraging game 1.

Lot of good ball movement a lot of people chipping in. Good D To score 122 and shoot only 45% is impressive.

thats the thing ... it does not matter if you are off. make everyone better. Your team should be able to win when you are off. He passed great but he can pass even better.

Grant looked like a vet.

Under control...5 assists...3 steals...0 turnovers.

Gallo also building on a good pre-season.


We had excellent guard play, for the most part, although Calderon showed his age.

Sasha also looked active on both ends of the court.


Good start, and some good things to build on.

KO'Qy had 10 rebs in 12 minutes. That's crazy. He almost had a double double.

I love the minutes distribution from Fish tongiht. No one got over 30 minutes.

KP 16 pts! His shooting will get better and the gitters are gone
Galloway looks even better this year.. 6th man of the year!
Grant great first game looks like a vet great court vision needs to start!
O'quinn quite but great first game 8pts 11rebs very oak game
Sasha nice defense! And a serviceable 11 pts.
Melo a nice well rounded game.

KOQ was in one of my rebuild plans. I wanted him but never thought the knicks had a chance. Thank you Jason Smith aka baby Bargs. I wanted Green, Harris, and O'Quinn to return home to make the "Black Irish" trio. I got one of the 3.

The Knicks D was pretty good. The size and length really had an impact tonight. They can be really good once they fully gel as a team.

And you say "kp will be fine" like he had a bad game.

KP had a slow start but showed why he will be a factor. He will be fine because he has more than just shooting to play well.

LT had a nice 4th quarter in Garbage time. He is a solid player no doubt. But early needs to play and he did not get run after a nice preseason.

Small point IMO! This team is gonna get a boost from the bench and most nights the starters should be better than they looked at the start of this game.
