I haven't missed a Knick game in years and years and years. And that includes all pre-season games, all Summer League games, and all games in the Isiah years!

But Opening Night 2015 against the Bucks at 8 PM.....going against a Mets World Series game? I'm going to have to go with the Series. (I'll tape the Knicks, avoid radio, papers and watch when I can.) Knicks will be second fiddle big time. All media around here will be Mets, Mets, Mets. Knicks? What's that?

I love the Mets, but damn, did they ruin the opening of the NBA season. Cavs v Bulls, Warriors v Pelicans on Tuesday? Have to be watching game 1 of Mets World Series game. Glad the Mets have no Series game on Thursday, can watch TNTs Mavs v Clippers and Knicks v Hawks.

Who else is going to give up on Opening Night's Knicks v Bucks to watch the Mets?

I'll watch the Knicks replay on Ball Streams, and watch the WS live.

A no brainer for me because the Mets are the priority for me at this point I can see the Knicks game in full, even if I can't see it live.

Ill have to show a picture of my basement set up. I dont have the problem of what I want to watch--I simply tilt my head slightly. Its a pretty decent fancave that Ive built up for enjoying any sporting event(s)> Ive told me wife when I die--just leave me on my couch--Im good:) By the way its in my will that I am to be buried wearing a jersey of the Knicks Huskies Rangers Jets and Mets with a pair of jeans with just socks:) lol and true!

No doubt. Already mentioned it in the meetup thread. No way you can pass up a Mets World Series game for any regular season Knicks game.

Disagree. Knicks games are far and away number 1, even preseason, for me. My favorite team and my favorite sport. In fact, outside of my teams (Knicks and Yankees) I don't pay attention to any other sports, I have too much **** going on, and don't have the time or inclination to dedicate my time to it.

While I'm a Yankee fan, I don't have anything against the Mets. But I am also not interested enough to look away from my Knicks. Maybe during commercial breaks, although I will likely do my normal routine of DVR-ing the game, start watching an hour in so I can FF all the commercials, halftime, etc. So, good luck Mets, I'll read about it in the paper.

if I was a Mets fan no way I would miss the WS game... I mean following the Knicks can be tough, following the Mets is an exercise in masochism

I DVR every sporting event I watch at home. I then generally start around the halfway point, FF throug the commercials and I can watch and NBA game in an hour. NFL is the best... if you FF through everything but the actual game action you can watch an NFL game in about 30 minutes.

I just dont have time or desire to sit for 2+ hours through commercial after commercial, TV time outs, bla bla bla

Drinking with fellow fans is an activity in itself. You coming to the meetup? Ive heard great things about Killa's place. Lookin forward

I will be watching the Knicks. I'll be rooting for Mets fans on account of how much they've suffered the past several years, but I will be watching the Knicks. But I'm not really a big baseball guy in the first place anyway. Hopefully The Mighty O'Quinn will be all jacked up about his Mets and it'll translate on the court.

Good luck to the Mets, but I've seen 4 baseball games in my life, and that was 5 too many.

Baseball is a paced game--no doubt you can watch both games at same time.

That being said the Mets are in the WS as much as we have solar eclipses. This is a good team the Mets have and should get better next year. But we have a great chance this year if we are humble focused and I think we are. Im hoping to get the Royals but Toronto is fine too.

Die hard yankee fan,but i could never sit through an entire baseball game, even when I'm at the games i spend half the time at the bar.

I used to really like the mets in the Gary Carter, Strawberry days, and I'll root for them because i'm a new yorker, but I'm not missing knick games because of no WS

Yeah, one of these days I'm gonna take the 15 minutes to learn how the DRV on my cablebox works. Football's definitely the worst when they go score-commercial break-kickoff-commercial break.
