Too bad the Mets will have to have five days off before the Series begins. That's a lot of cooling off time for the historically white hot Murphy.

i always liked Murphy, even when he wasn't hitting- hope they resign him. Nice to be in the ws - not sure how it should feel.

Yeah you figure this is it for Murphy and the Mets too. This guy is getting paid and while he isnt hitting 90 HRs anywhere--I think in a hitting ball park this guy can go 25- 30 home runs and bat .315+ as a 2nd baseman. I just dont see the Mets paying him what will turn out to be 20mm a year.

Even more so! Lin had a great run in the regular season. Murphy's having an historic run in the playoffs! It's incredible!
