Seraphin has been injured... but I agree he has not looked good or comfortable in this offense.

Dudes, Seraphin is a keeper. I've watched plenty of his games last season
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

That's a good point. But if they wanted to play Admundson instead of Seraphin, which at the moment I don't think they should, they'd probably play him as PF next to O'Quinn as center. But personally I'm not so quick to pull the trigger on Seraphin. He didn't look terrible out there. He just didn't have a breakout game. I'd be willing to give him a few more games. Lots of practice time between now and Thursday.

Yeah. It sounds like Washington was concerned with the impact his weight would have on his knee.

Seraphin can impact the game more than Amundson. Seraphin just trying too hard to be a starter vs Amundson has excepted his role as a permanent backup. Plus hes comfortable in this system. But we have too many forwards and need to turn one of them into a guard or rim protector thats comfortable coming off the bench. Seraphin is also younger so he holds more value..Especially since he can play the center position better than Amundson.

He's talented that's for sure. The past two games he's been short on his shot"no leg power" he needs conditioning we might not see his true form for a month or so. He is a scoring presence and is a above average passer from the post . He will be our back up center. And he's a very serviceable one at that. He just needs to get his legs back and he'll be hitting those shots.

Seems to be off since the injury...either its not fully healed or it takes him a while to get into the swing of things after recovering.

Scared about his weight, though, especially after hearing that the Wizards felt it was an issue.

Don't know why it took Amundson so long...but he really has worked on his jumper to the point where you don't always dread seeing him shoot it. You saw it improving last year.

Good guy to have at the end of your bench.

Much different player than Seraphin, who looks less and less like a C/PF, and more like a pure C as you get to watch him play. At this point I would not even use them in a comparison.

its a low risk high reward type of investment.... he could potentially earn big $$ if he gets his act together... he has to know that.
Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

Seraphin strikes me as a pump and dump. Get him playing well, send him packing with Calderon for an expiring contract and a draft pick next year. Then you have Lopez, Melo and rest of the guys are good and super cheap, Gallo, Grant, Early, KOQ, DWill, KP... when I think value, that is a very good young group of talent at a very good cost. Should be low enough to get a max deal in and that's a good core to go to if your a star. Not sure if its Durant or whoever but that would be my road

Their were talks coming out of washington from the coach, that Serp thinks he's better than he is. He's main reason for sign here was more minutes, and more touches, and he plays like he's trying to prove a point.

Maybe it was the 7 days off that has him out of sync, but it sure looks like he's rushing things

Lou's hustle is commendable and he actually contributed something last night offensively (on both ends really) but Seraphin's bigger and has a lot more game imo. He's been out--needs to get himself back up to speed. I like how KS kept shooting last night after those early misses. Good for him--shoot your way back into it, big fella. He finally connected on one. He can hit those 15-18 footers and he's got an effective post game. Nice player to add at the end of FA -- inexpensive legit NBA rotation big man. Either he becomes part of this or worst case he becomes a nice trade chip at the deadline.
