The 3-way trade among Toronto, the Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks. Babcock had earlier shot down talk of a four-way deal. A published report said the three-way trade involved Carter going to the Mavericks and Antoine Walker moving from Dallas to end up with the Knicks.
"There's probably a little bit to it," a source with ties to the Knicks said yesterday.
