Too early to predict starting lineups yet with Afflalo out. KP didn't have his sea legs tonight.
That said, I see alot of minutes for O'Quinn and Seraphin at the 4 and 5 this season. They're interchangeable big bodies and seemed to play well together.
After preseason game 1 against an overmatched team from Brazil, I got to say Calderon is shot. He doesn't belong in the NBA anymore. Just looked old out there.
Vujacic looked eager and spry, but he was chucking like there was no tomorrow. Mostly misfiring badly. He belongs on the bench as a veteran sparkplug.
Melo was on fire last night. Then again it was Brazil, so I doubt he goes 8-10 consistently against NBA competition. His defense still sucks. His man got some easy layups on him at times.
RoLo looked like he will for most of the season. Just a big roadblock in the paint. He might not block alot of shots, but his wingspan and size will be a nuisance for any penetrators.
KP just looked nervous as phuck out there. Hesitant, unsure, overthinking. Kid's 20, he'll get there over time.
Jerian/Galloway. What can you say? That combo is what blew the game open. Jerian with the penetration, Gallo with his tough man to man D, grit, and bucket making.
Now we're on to Washington...
