This is the way it's suppose to be. Keep the media away from the team.

I agree. No coverage.

In previous years we got live coverage of media day. Then we would also get Hahn and Trautwig doing a live four hour feed from camp. NBA network is bouncing around from team to team camps, but nothing coming from Knicks camp. I'm hoping something's coming from MSG or NBA network, but I see nothing on the horizon. Kind of stinks for us die hards.

Seems like there were videos on nba.com everyday. I don't remember what the coverage was like specifically in the past.

They seem to have a short period to watch them at the end, I think, and then a chance for interviews.

Annoying to me as a fan, but not as a coach.

I never used to like practicing with other teams when I was running a practice. No problem going to another school for a practice if they were running it, though.

Not sure if Fish and Phil want others being able to see what my team is doing, especially with new players all over the place and potential changes in the offense.

Can't remember- was it different last year?

How's Kyle Oquinn playing so far? Cant answer---in fact we don't know one detail about one player other than a couple of injuries. New York press has dropped the ball.

NBA Network coverage would be great. Watched some of the Bucks practice. Would love to see the Knicks obviously.

The clips are only about 2 minutes but I would say that in those clips I haven't seen anything that would make O'Quinn standout positively or negatively.

This is very true, and the injuries seem minor. Last 2 preseason was so much drama, the stories were more about every other thing except basketball..

The team is NO Drama this season. They are professional and looking sharp so there's not much to say. It's good that the Knicks are low keying it and the media is acting accordingly. Knicks can sneak up on teams this year.

well here's a new one

NBA Trade Rumors: Carmelo Anthony-Kevin Love Trade Rumors Going Strong - New NBA rumors suggest of a blockbuster trade between the New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony and Cleveland Cavaliers' Kevin Love as Knicks officials are allegedly ready to engage in trade discussions involving their prized All-Star forward.

Recently, NBA writer Zach Lowe indicated in a Grantland article that the Knicks are "getting closer" to examining Anthony trade possibilities as team president Phil Jackson is allegedly keen on upgrading the team from scratch rather than to form an instant title-contending team.

Bleacher Report's Team Stream Now was the first to report the option of the Cavs offering their own three-time All-Star to Jackson in exchange for their offensive anchor months ago.

The 27-year-old former UCLA standout is also younger and more suitable to be the center of a rebuilding squad than Anthony and would more likely gain from going back to his previous role of being a team's alpha male.

It was evident that Love had fought back as the third option in David Blatt's system and the prospective of playing for Jackson could encourage him to leave LeBron and his crew.

The question now is whether Anthony can accept a lesser role as he would certainly play a secondary role in comparison to James once he joins him in Cleveland.

He actually said they aren't close but then said they are getting closer. It was from a month ago and was two sentences in a long article about Markieff Morris. There is a thread on here some place. Link to the actual article:http://grantland.com/the-triangle/the-curious-case-of-markieff-morris/

The media just manufacture drama to generate interest. Less media=less drama, which means fewer distractions.

That's the best thing I have heard in a long time. How do we keep it that way?

It's unfortunate but compared to past seasons this is nothing. A good opening night preseason game is more important than the personal life of Fish. Just need to see this team win at this point.
