All I hope is that Galloway establishes himself as a solid reliable back up 2 gaurd in the NBA.

I rather give his spot to Thanasis who at least brings it every night and hope he develops some offensive game

The brilliant Tyson trade that gave us the immortal Shane Larkin & Ceanthony Early.

I said he was trash last year and how nothing about his game impresses me but People went nuts last year because he started putting up numbers in the league

I agree. I didn't think he looked that good in Vegas.

He is playing with actual NBA players that have had more time in the offense. I am not surprise at all. If his shot is on he is an above average player.

Wasn't so great last season. Looks much more polished, confident.

How soon we forget that Gallo was one of the better rookies and showed a lot last year. All Rookie 2nd Team after coming from the D League.

Didnt finish the season that way, thats why Im surprised he looks so sharp so soon.

Gallo had a VERY good rookie year after coming from the D League. Not sure what criteria guys are using to judge a rookie that played well compared with other rookies.

He needs to play better than last yr

That goes without saying, but if Gallo had played any better he would've been All Rookie 1st Team, so you need to have some F'n perspective about how he played.

All-Rookie 2nd Team 2015
PLAYER POS TEAM FG% PPG RPG APG BLKPG

Bojan Bogdanovic F Brooklyn Nets .453 9.0 2.7 0.9 0.1
Langston Galloway G New York Knicks .399 11.8 4.2 3.3 0.3
Marcus Smart G Boston Celtics .367 7.8 3.3 3.1 0.3
Zach LaVine G Minnesota Timberwolves .422 10.1 2.8 3.6 0.1
Jusuf Nurkic C Denver Nuggets .446 6.9 6.2 0.8 1.1

Gallo played badly offensively last season I don't care how many PPG he got.

Whatever man! Kid played hard and of course he needed to improve his game but it's not fair to say he had a bad rookie season. As rookies go he had a good season. Wasn't drafted and still made a name for himself.

very nice finisher. hopefully his defense will improve. he's missed a couple of rotations on broken plays.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I hsted the Tyson trade. Had some hopes for Cle at draft time, but have never been impressed by his game in person.

Don't care what he was - rookie or not. He had awful offensive numbers but played really nice D and it looks like he has improved his game coming into this season.

Lets call it how it is. His WS48, TS, FG ... whatever ... was all bad. Those numbers did not tell the full story though since his defense is what earned him the spot.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

that is expected ... was a little worried about his first step. Wonder if he is fast enough to break down NBA guards consistently.

If Early Sasha and Caledron are having trouble guarding a bunch of nobodies from Brazil then I honestly don't know what to say.

this team shot 40+ 3's and they move the ball pretty well, the defense needs obvious work, but it wasn't embarrassing d.

Defense at the 1, 2, 3 outside of Galloway and maybe Grant is gonna be dicey as hell this season. Expect to lead the league in 3pt fg allowed again.

it was definitely embarrassing d. Those guys were tired at the end and missing wide open uncontested 3 after 3.
