Chandler has not been able to speak to Morris yet but he expects to do so soon. His message will focus on how Morris’ feelings toward General Manager Ryan McDonough, adviser and former President of Basketball Operations Lon Babby and Managing Partner Robert Sarver should have no bearing on his play or relationship with teammates and coaches.

“It’s not about them,” Chandler said. “That’s no offense to Ryan, the GM, or the owner. Players play for players and the coaches. You’ve got a bond. Management has nothing to do with anything that goes on when you’re on the court. That’s just my thoughts. I’m not saying this for anything against Keef either. He’s a man and he has to go through his own process. But he can be special and I know he will. I feel like all this stuff will be forgotten once we kick off and we’re having success.”

Just so funny..People project these guys into spaces where they don't belong...Now Chandler feels he has a platform to say what he thinks Morris should be doing..Amazing..

One thing for sure, if he had something to say to Morris. it shouldn't have been thru an interview or public statement.

Im most cases they are asked questions, not making public statements. If Tyson tweeted it, that's a different story.
Players are required to talk to the media and they have a problem with this guy who wants to be traded. he is putting himself above the team which is problem for the suns.

The suns bought the twins together, paid them, then changed their minds. As twins they might feel like they are being broken apart. Twins have weird shyt to deal with sometimes. Most players get its a business and things change. This guy is not that special a player to make demands as he has. Maybe the suns did not handle it right but in time the dude will have to play and if he wants to be traded he needs to play really well, not be a locker room distraction.

Tyson wont hesitate to blame Morris and his teammates if their season goes south and conveniently leave his name out no matter how poorly he plays. Wont be the first time.

Pretty sure Crush remembers the particulars, but I wouldnt have brought it up if Tyson had mentioned his own play more often.

"more often" cant be serious. Tyson admitted he played like trash against the Pacers. Doesnt matter when, he's quoted as doing it. What player admits they played bad every time? Find one quote where Melo admits he shot like shyt every playoff as a Knick? You wont.

Tyson played like **** much too often after his DPOY year. He had no business pointing his finger at anyone but himself. Good riddance.

Right...based on this logic, every previous Knick should be gone, because they all played like garbage after that season.

Not everyone on that team was a max player, and a team captain. Standards should be higher. It wasnt just a few games, long stretches over several seasons.

Tyson wasnt a max player or a team captain of the Knicks. he took less to join us and only Amare and Melo were captains.

I got the captain part wrong, I should have just said "leader". As far as the max deal, I found several articles that referenced a max deal in 2011. Max, near max, still a big cap hit.

Thats odd, every article I read stated he took a deal from us that was less than Golden State offered, therefore he wasnt a max player. I dont know if :leader" is the right term either as he was referred to the previous year in Dallas before he signed with us as "missing piece".

So perhaps your expectations vs what Tyson actually is may very well be the issue. he's a defensive minded role player...nothing more.

He was brought to ny in part to be a leader and positive locker room presence. His comments during the Indy series were ridiculous. He spent his last year in nytrying to get his coach fired not trying to get guys to play together.
