Teammates work out with Melo in Puerto Rico: Some New York Knicks have joined Anthony in Puerto Rico this week during the forward's annual charity weekend at the island.

New Knick Kevin Seraphin posted a photo from Puerto Rico that included himself, Anthony, Porzingis, Lance Thomas, Cleanthony Early, Lou Amundson, Jerian Grant, and player development staff employees Chris Brickley and Mubarak Malik.

Anthony had said in years past that he wanted to get some players together for workouts in Puerto Rico. The Knicks will also likely schedule workouts before training camp at the team's facility in Westchester.

Big question - WHERE'S THE OTHER HALF OF THE TEAM??? This is clearly part of Melo's "divide and conquer" strategy.

Thats nice. Makes much more sense doing this than showing up at SL to see only 4 guys who realistically had a shot of making the team.

only new fans can turn this into a negative. lol. hey im not the biggest melo fan but ill give credit to where its due. he invited some teammates to practice with (maybe the others didn't show because they had prior engagements).I like the fact that the young knicks are there too. melo isnt known for his leadership but he acted like a leader on this occasion.
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Here's hoping this help them get into rhythm early so they can get some wins while other teams are still trying to figure it out

Oh don't worry, the "true knick fans" will be here quickly to dispel any notion of this being some sort of display of ME70'$ leadership qualities.

I can't wait to read what Lin would have done...or Gallo...or Marbury...or...

this looks promising. lets hope the smiling continues as we get through preseason and the first 30 games.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Is this a purely spite, positive post?

1) spite is not part of my emotional makeup.
2) i root for my team even when i know they give me reason to be pessimistic.
3) they will win between 29 and 42 games.

Nice. Funny, the Leadership 101 thread was 13 pages long. This doesn't look like it will make it to a second page.

Hope Grant's wrist is ok. Hadn't heard anything about an injury but it looks to be pretty heavily taped.

The worst anyone should claim from this is indifference. Melo has been asked to be a leader and this is a positive step. It's not worth criticism. You can say too little too late, but I say "sounds good"
This is the Randle.
