More on Miller,
Miller most recently was in a developmental coaching position in the Spurs organization. Here is his a bit of a write up on him when he was hired as an assistant to coach for the Austin Toros.“Mike comes to Austin with an excellent background in development and program management,” said McDonald. “His wealth of experience will be extremely beneficial to the Toros organization and his dedication to helping players improve will be a key to the success of our team.” Miller, who most recently served as an assistant at UC Riverside during the 2012-13 season, spent six seasons as head coach at Eastern Illinois University from 2005-12. Prior to leading the Panthers, Miller was an assistant at Kansas State University from 2000-05. Before his stint in the Big 12, Miller served as head coach at Texas State University from 1994-2000. Highlights during his tenure with the Bobcats included capturing the Southland Conference regular season and tournament championships in 1997. At the conclusion of the season, Miller was named the Southland Conference Coach of the Year

No, don't confuse this Mike Miller with the actual player. But you can be encouraged about the possibility of the Knicks swiping a coach from the Spurs, something that seems to work out well for many teams.
The Spurs D-League team has produced solid coaches before, like Jazz head coach Quin Snyder, who was once the leader of the Austin Toros.

The Spurs might be known for player development more than any other organization in the league. If that's what the Knicks are looking for, maybe they're about to find something

Fantastic! Here is another example of how Phil is making the Organization better as a whole on multiple levels. He has picked a person from one of the most successful franchises over the last 20 years to help develop our young talent. We have been weak in that area for as long as I can remember.Nice pick up Phill.
The Legacy is on my back!

Seems like Dleague team was a disaster and H20's buddy had to go.
Im hoping that this guy gets paid and can stay down there a while and build that culture in that team as well.
Triangle or not, continuity has to exist. Maybe one day league will change and we can roster more guys in the league and pay them.
Its a good thing we got our Dleague in the practice facility.
