I do feel bad for him because he seems like a good kid and he probably could have made more $$ overseas, but you did not see any dramatic and consistent changes from him in SL, despite hitting a few jumpers, if I remember correctly.
He did not fit the player profile I thought Phil was looking for...I think between Thanasis and the French kid we drafted Phil expected one of them to emerge as an disruptive, defensive, energy type player who could hit an open midrange shot or cut to the basket, perhaps playing a Rodman-like role on the team. I think that is what Gaines also saw in Ndour, who looked better than both of these guys, IMO.
Hopefully someone wants him and we can get something for him and put him into a situation where he has a better opportunity, but it looks like his future as a Knick is very doubtful.
