if either player got traded, it would likely be for each other. They are friends who definitely like each other's city. Both have huge contracts that match up.
Hopefully Carmelo utilizes his immense talent within the triangle, but if he wants to continue playing isolation ball, then the Lakers would be a better team for him.
Kobe obviously knows the triangle and would make a seamless transition. LA seems to lack the discipline that Kobe is looking for. Not only is his contract expiring but we would also get one or 2 of their young players (Probably excluding D'Angelo Russell).
