I think they have too many years of winning titles and also a superiority complex and think whatever they're looking at will be good. They're in for another long season, but Russell and Randler can eventually be good players. And they have their own lotto pick next season, which puts them ahead of us.

I thought they owe their lotto pick to the Sixers next season? On top of that, the fact that they are in the WC puts them behind us. Tougher road every year.

My observation of many Lakers fans is they believe in order to defend Lakers fandom, they must, part and parcel, defend every last thing said and done by Kobe Bryant.

I can't imagine the number of fans driven out of the NBA and Lakers fans driven away ( you won't hear from them because they are gone) because of Kobe Bryant.

I'll say this much for Melo, for all his faults, at least he's not Kobe Bryant level of despicable behavior.

In that regard, I sort of feel sorry for Randle and Russell. Imagine having to deal with moody narcissistic selfish shotjacking Kobe Bryant all the time.

Look at fake tough guy Kobe. He knew Artest would literally chew his throat out , so he backed off like a little punk. Then Stern's refs had to bail out Kobe by shoving Artest out of the game.
