The addition of Afflalo and Grant; Oquinn, Pozingis, and Rolo will propel the Knicks to the playoffs next season. I know the newyork media is not really supporting the moves made by Phil thus far, mainly because they expected the signing of a big name player, but I happen to be content for the moment. I hope that we can find one more big and a combo guard out there to further solidify our bench.

Gone are the days of dumb basketball plays of Amare, JR, and Shump:::)))

Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

That's the thing that i'm focused on. It's not about the big names as much as it's about having a team full of players that play with heart, defend, rebound and share the ball. It's a totally different kind of team from what we've had the last 5 years. There was thought and planning that went into the way this roster has been built. After all the media bashing Phil finally had his chance to build the team the way he wanted and it is a good start. It's not just about right now but building a team that has a future as well.

On top of all that I like the potential of our young players quite a lot. You can see how they could help this team as they develop and mature. The culture is about hard work, sacrifice and team 1st now. That's a breath of fresh air after what we had on this roster. This is just the beginning of the process. We still have to develop our young players and this is where the big upside will come for this franchise.

Those guys were not dumb basketball players, they were just players far to set in there ways to make an immediate change.

Like i stressed in another thread, I don't know how any of these moves will turn out because i was optimistic last season. We still have fisher who's far from being a good coach let only great.

I like the tempo and and some of the changes i saw in summer league, but the knicks had an above avg summer league last yr finishing 4-1.

Shump and JR are dumb players. Amare very dump on the defensive end.

I watched the two summer league games so far, I saw a bunch of guys who made great
Commitment to run players off of the three line. Our interior defense also appears to be much improved, because the players on the roster are making a conscious effort to provide help defense. Which to me is an indication that our coaches have changed the defensive scheme.

I think Shump and JR have combined IQ of 70, and Shump had 50 of that.

Yes and when his highness leaves after another failed title run Cleveland will be loving that deal. BTW what's the number of games it would take Kevin Love to get injured? 15 @ the outside?

The King's IQ is so high, he made both Shump and JR look like capable players

Shump and jr looked exactly like the players we had on the Knicks.

We'll have the last laugh when lbj calls Phil and tells him to clear our cap room.

Lebron is not leaving clev. He is going stay until he either wins a championship or retires. He would look so bad if he left again, I don't think his PR people would let him do it. The first move was justified because he wanted a ring, but now his has two rings. He would be a punk to run away again.
