He was a talent that could have gone in any direction. Its also possible that his game was more suited for today's NBA then college.
With all that said TJ Warren averaged like 30pts a game last yr in summer league. We would t really know anything about these players until min the end of the yr

He's still available....Nothing is stopping Phil from pulling the trigger.....It's not like Tyler has a long line of GM's knocking on his door. There must be a reason why Phil hasn't entertained this option. I thought he was a good player as well, but I'm just a fan, with no rings.

the point is that we can't judge players based on SL.
Clearly, a strong summer league performance projects better than a weak one, though. It's not like there's a negative or inverse correlation between the two.
You're right that it's far from a perfect correlation though and we are only projecting.
