It won't be a complete failure. We won't add Z or Crawford but if Houston is able to stay healthy we will be in better position long term. We will add Ariza to the team. We can attempt to buy out Shandon Anderson. Othella's agent said Isiah promised him he won't be with the team next season so I would have to assume a buyout would happen there if we can't trade him.

Split the MLE between a guard and a big man. I would go after Eric Williams, Deshawn Stevenson, Mo Pete, and Jon Barry at the guard slot. All are very capable of coming off the bench and giving solid minutes. Eric Williams would give us a great locker room guy, a tough defender. Stevenson gives us a 23 year old who could possibly break out ala Joe Johnson. Mo Pete is young and has shown some nice flashes. Jon Barry gives us a great perimeter shooter as insurance for Houston off the bench. All these guys would add a nice aspect to the team if we can't get Houston. As far as big men, I would look at Chris Mihm, Keon Clark, and Mike Doleac. We could split the MLE between one guard and one big man and have a very solid team going into next season.

Front line is very thin if somebody goes down, so maybe try to convince Othella to stick around and don't bring Dermarr Johnson back. Stick Moochie on the IL instead.
