In 2008, the Knicks traded Frederick Weiss for the son of NYK legend, Patrick Ewing.
After much ado, being signed and waived a few times by the NYK, he eventually landed with the Reno Bighorns D-league team who traded him for Danny Green!

Failing to lift the curse of Patrick Ewing through the glory of his son, the Knicks went after the son of another NBA player, Dell Curry.
All set to snatch him in the 8th slot of the 2009 draft, the NYK were thwarted by the Golden State Warriors who selected him one slot earlier, just to spite NY, or so it is said. The curse of Patrick Ewing, still in effect, allowed Curry to become an MVP and lead Golden State to an NBA championship.

In the 2013 draft, they selected the son of Tim Hardaway, former NYK nemesis. Tim Jr was also the NYK's nemesis as his scoring surge at the end of the 2015 season helped cause the Knicks to drop out of the top lottery slot.

On Nov 4, 2014, the son of Glen Rice was hit in the nuts by NYK JR Smith, and he was never to be seen in the NBA again!

At the 2015 draft, NYKs got revenge on TH jr, and traded him for the rights to the son of NBA nobody Harvey Grant (also nephew to NBA somebody Horace Grant), with the hope of eventually parlaying him into Lebron Jr!

LOL. Now that is funny.

Harvey Grant was not an NBA nobody. He actually had a good NBA career, but since was not playing for championships with Jordan, most younger people might not remember him.
