That kid may turn out to be the best player out of Kentucky this year. He is fundamentally sound at both ends of the court and is currently outplaying Okafor in the SL game. Utah has a hell of a player in their hands
Thank God Fisher is no longer our coach, now let's get Calderon out of here:)

So you're saying Utah would reject Minnesota's offer of Towns for Lyles in a straight up trade?

Lyles is a defensive liability but I really like his offensive game. He's very versatile.

At the 3 or the 4?

As he matures I would not see any reason why he could not defend at the 4.

Might have been a slow 3, but wouldn't he be more than adequate at PF?

Don't know what he looks like now, but he was pretty underdeveloped physically last year...don't see why this won't change with training and simple maturity.

The kid I saw last night is far different then the Lyles who played for Kentucky. Defensively, he was engaged; and, on offense he showed that his game is well beyond his age. There was one play where he pump faked Okafor and forced him to commit; he then jumped and laid a foul on Okafor. That right there is maturity. I don't know how Porzingis will turn, but I bet my money on the kids from Kentucky. We should have traded down to select both Lyles and Booker or Stein and Lyles.
