Yup...and its been happening more and more in the past few years for me.

Of course as a Jets fan I was obligated to hate him at the time, but as an older fellow I can now respect him for what he was.

Tough SOB...RIP

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

There were three or four QBs you identified with in the 70s and Stabler was one of them RIP Snake.

I thought I was on a raiders forum for a minute. Stabler was a crazy dude. I'm too young to have watched him but I've seen some NFL films footage. RIP.

he threw the prettiest ball
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

I think he was the next great QB to come out of Alabama after Joe Willie Namath. RIP Ken Stabler.

RIP - Kenny Stabler. Agreed, I'm at that stage of life where I'm starting to lose more people from my sports memories and my personal life. Sobering fact of life is nobody gets out of this alive. The Snake was one of the most resourceful and clutch players leading those tough Raider teams.
RIP Ken Stabler
