yeah i saw. $17.5 mill. talented big on offense
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Will cost the thunder $40mil this year including luxury tax, though if they match, they may be able to shift novak and another players salary.

We could use a TPE for a 2016 #1st round draft pick and just release the players. 5mm+ for late 1st rounder is fair.

2016 to Philly, 2018 to Utah. both picks protected 1-15. They do however have a couple of extra 2nd round picks. We would then only have the 2.8M exception left to add a player

I don't think we have room under the cap to do that - we have the exception and then a bit extra - not sure they can be combined.

I think we are pretty much down - I'd expect our cash is being saved for players from last year (Shved), SL players that make the team & any incidentals out of training camp where a player on another squad gets released.

Id take a 2020 1st round pick(1-15) + 2 2seconds. It just gives us future arsenal.

The team that dumped Lopez was the team who signed Kanter. Lopez wasnt very good last year and was worse down the stretch. Maybe new location will help pump him back up but my guess is Portland has much more info on Lopez than we do.

Lopez had a WS48 last year of .150.

That is very very good.

Id say OKC and the Portland Trailblazers are pretty well run teams compared to the Knicks.

I would happily take Steve Novak back if they toss in a pick.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

OKC is the team that gave up Harden which was one of the worst NBA move in many many years and Portland (who is well run) just lost Aldridge and are not in great shape.

Are you saying that Lopez must not be that good if Portland chose not to retain him? I think that we did possibly over pay for him but we had no choice and that Portland is looking to change things up.

Lopez is a very good player who actually plays team ball and defends very well. It was a very good get by Phil.

.176 in 2014 which was 19th best in entire league. Good sign by Phil

name me one player that we have close to

Lilliard

Wesley Matthews

Battum

Aldridge

Lopez was the WORST player in that starting lineup but some posters will take the WIN SHARE LIST and run with it...
This is where I have to agree with Sir Charle's thoughts on advanced stats

Affalo was put in the SL and WAS HORRIBLE....

On OKC, willing to pay up for Kanter but not for James Harden, yeah, there were posters here that thought that OKC won in the trade when it happened...

Really? Have you actually looked at the Blazer roster recently?

http://www.nba.com/blazers/roster

I'd take that team over what the Knicks all day. They have a lot of young promising talent that you cannot even begin to compare to this roster.
