I know we have Thansis on our SL roster and Ndor--but this guy has been impressive on the D and rebounding in SL and has the size @ 6-7 235 to be a "Lebron stopper" type. He will be a first team Orlando SL player. He actually reminds me of Dray Green without a 3 pointer. Very very physical.

Yeah every game he's played in so far people have been raving about him and his energy and rebounding.

ive watched him too. im not too impressed. dude is simply an athletic talent taking advantage of scrubs trying to make the league. but its fun to watch his hustle
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

His last two games were awful impressive

He avg 14.5 points 11 rebounds 2 assists 3.5 steals 2.5 blocked shots in 30 minutes. He was a defensive monster rebounded very well played with high tier energy and was able to score well. If Thansis comes even "half" of what Branden Dawson produced we'd have fan meltdown.

The trend is that it's okay to be undersized as long as you've got game. If you're an athlete but don't bring the game (Anthony Bennett, Thomas Robinson), you're not going to be effective.

Draymond Green has a 3ball, a really good passer, high IQ and an inch taller.
He will likely sustain an NBA career if he can keep up his high level play on defense.

Dray and Dawson are the same exact size. Youre right Dray has a 3 ball and Dawson doesnt and that counts but were talking about an undrafted player who dominated in his play here. Just the facts he fits the mold of a shorter faster player who can defend big to small rebound and play good team ball. Hes a passer as well.

Does he strike you as a smart player? (I really don't know that much)) What he looks like is a winning player. But Im just realizing now that he was actually drafted by the Clippers hes not an UDFA. He was drafted 57 quite a nice pick.

Does it hurt you deep down Briggs that Dawson was acquired for essentially 600K, the price of a sold 2nd round pick, and if the Knicks offered maybe 650 or 700, that he could a Knicks player right now. Or the Knicks could have gotten JP Tokoto with that pick if they bought it.
