Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

![]() We have improved in two important areas where we were ranked near dead last in the league last year
Points in the paint I think this squad gets to the rim consistently and our team defense will be better overall. We might see O'Quinn starting at PF to help Lopez protect the rim. Our second unit is going to be faster and more athletic and I think will provide some excitement 2nd unit |

![]() bottom line the team is being build. Maybe last year wasnt impressive as there wasnt much to work with, but there is a nice infusion of talent this year. I hope KP develops into a high caliber all star type, but Im pretty damn sure Grant is going to be a high end starter for many years in the league. Quinn and Williams are young guys with upside and something to prove. Lopez and Afflalo are nice vets brought in to do the things they are comfortable doing.
Every player on this roster was signed by Phil. I expect this group to play much better and look like a team "winning is more fun... then fun is fun" -Thibs

As a fan, I am going to enjoy this team more then the teams of the last 10 years. For me, part of the fan experience is watching a team bring in young kids and grow them. Of course, winning would be nice also and this has become a stars league, but Phil has given me enough to stay involved with the team every day. |

I think KP will have a two way game like Rick Smit, but with a 3pt shot. Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland.

![]() Didn't realize how great an athlete Williams is. The form on his shot looks fine, albeit a bit slow.
Wonder if he can "learn" to play defense. He sure has the athletic ability. Will be nice to see him dunking like that, if for no other reason than to excite the crowd. All talented guys... ![]() Though our team is improved, it isn't saying much
Phil Jackson should understand he need TOP TIER PLAYERS and ALL STARS to win that are 2way talents that make OTHERS BETTER We lack players that penetrate/score with contact and can facilitate, outside of Grant who is a rookie |

![]() RonRon wrote:Though our team is improved, it isn't saying much The Triangle is built for 1 or 2 stars to be able to penetrate 1 on 1 half court defense. We have that in Melo and Grant. The rest of the guys need to be good passers, which is a quality almost all of them have. It will be interesting to see how they play together in a real game. ![]() RonRon wrote:Though our team is improved, it isn't saying muchSo we need TOP TIER guys, and then you say we should have signed Daniel Hacket. ronron... EVERY team wants top talent that makes it easier for others, even the teams that already have it. That ALWAYS a search. The question is when its not available what do you do? I think Phil did pretty good with that. All 4 FAs fit a clear need. We just have to see how they play together "winning is more fun... then fun is fun" -Thibs

![]() RonRon wrote:Though our team is improved, it isn't saying much I think you have to add Ledo to the list of players who can score with contact. He is not an elite jumper, but looks for the contact and hangs in the air long enough to get his shot off. Check his highlights above and you'll see what I mean. Williams and O'Quinn are guys who aren't going to be denied when they see the rim. Williams with his elite jumping ability throws it down with ferocity. O'Quinn is a strong mofo and powers in. You add freeing these guys up with picks, screens and cuts and we are going to get inside the paint production this year. |
