Looking at these new pics he looks a little more defined and a little bigger. It's good to see. Looking as his hips he looks like he can carry a lot more weight as he matures.

Yeah I think a little. Also this nonsense that he's too thin is kinda silly to me. Nobody saw Kevin Durant or Kevin Garnett play as a rookie? Those guys were rail thin and did just fine. It's not like he's playing center. He's probably going to play SF when he's on the court.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

Why would Airbrushing make him look bigger? Smoother maybe but not bigger. Perhaps you mean photoshopping?

I'm serious tho. He looks a little more defined and bigger up top. It's not impossible given that he's young and has nothing else to do but eat and workout. His lower body isn't as small as his upper body. I've read that his length strength isn't that bad at all.

Yeah KP doesn't look so bad when you put it in perspective. Amazing how much smaller all these guys were at the start. KP playing SF and Stretch 4 should be just fine.

To be honest I thought he looked like he'd bulked up a little in that SLAM workout video just before the draft- definitely not as skinny as in the euro highlight vids. What I liked was that his trainers said that up until now, rather than focus on his upper body, they had focused on his lower body (hips, legs, etc) first, to build up his base- usually that gets neglected

Yea when do we get to find out what numbers they will wear? Maybe once they sign Hackett and trade for B. Wanna see the rookie photo shoot with the numbers on their jerseys!

Clearly that's what Phil was thinking. He probably figured no other prospect we could get had his potential to be a franchise big. The kid clearly has loads of talent. We didn't have all the info on this kid that Phil did. The media guys made so much about his being skinny but it seems mostly it was based on older videos and old statements of him being 220 lbs when he's up over 230 now. He'll be 20 soon and if he keeps working hard and naturally matures he should be just fine. Those media reports about him being 3-5 years away seem to have been major exaggerations. Sure KP is gonna need time to mature but he doesn't look as bad as they made it sound. I know they had me fooled.

No way Np plays as a 3. He is not quick enough to guard wings.

I think KP could play anywhere from SF, PF, to Center (though unlikely right now vs STARTERS at least)
He has great versatile skill sets, a great work ethic and HIGH IQ, to go with his athleticism/3point range, ability to handle the ball/facilitate and pass over defenders/ mid range game for HIGH LOW action, POST game/mid RANGE post game, and causing many mismatches, whether in the paint, mid range, and LEGIT 3point range, ability to play on and off the ball, and making/finishing great cuts if we had floor spacing/shooters to spread the floor

His game is ideal for the Triangle or any system, he is interchangeable
While on DEFENSE he will use his length/athleticism/mobility and HIGH IQ, to play as a 1v1 defender to lock down positions or as a HELP DEFENDER when defending players with weakness's like Tony Allen when he plays SF

IMO, no, NOT vs STARTING caliber SF's, but vs backup/rotational players or/and players that have weakness's, I think he would be able to use his length/height/size/athleticism/mobility to do so
Players such as Tony Allen, would be ideal for him
While he could still lock down many players as he can contest shots while still in rebounding position/HELP DEFENSE as he can cheat vs weaker talents like Josh Smith

If Ryan Kelly played SF for the Lakers last season, he could surely do so
He is very mobile/athletic to go with his height/length so he could play a half ass defense to contest weak players/shooters
Or contest 3pt shooters that doesn't have the ability to penetrate like Doug McBukkets, even someone like Iman Shumpert, while they would have NO CHANCE defending him , espeically if we had shooters to space them out for 1v1 anywhere on the court

True, but if the chsnces of those matchup s are los. I would stick him at PF for now.

Yeah...I would use him at the 4.

Worth trying him out at SF in SL, just to get an idea of what he can/can't do, but his height will be negated a bit if you have him chasing after smaller players on the perimeter.

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

Have you seen some of the guys who have played SF? Obviously, against LeBron, no it doesn't make sense to have him play SF on defense.
