Don't think I would take on anyone else unless we make a trade. I'm sure there will be at least 1 SL guy that we can develop.

Our 14th & 15th guy should be under contract playing for our D-League team.

Assuming last years 2nd rounder Labeyrie gets a roster spot.

I don't know man. Labeyrie has been reported to be a standout defender that has good passing skills and a high energyplay, but is limited offensively. His 3pt shot is improving, but his post game is non existent. I would rather Phil wait so that everyone can see what he can do before signing Amundson or Jayson Stiff. It is not likely any team is rushing to sign them anyway.

^ Took me longer than I'm proud of before realizing you guys are two different posters.

I'd like to bring back Shved and/or Ledo. Shved obviously would have to be willing to come back for less at this point. Ledo needs to show us something in SL and training camp. I was (and still am) excited that we picked him up at the end of last season. Could be a nice 2 guard, but seemed a little out of shape. At least worth an extended look this summer.

I saw a nice video of ledo training with MCW. He looked good and looked like he was working hard. Hopefully will translate to the season.

fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

Galloway might be used in a PG role like he did during the season. Labeyrie is more of a PF.

I would think Ledo, Antekotopo, Laberie and Hernangomez are competing for one roster spot. I would probably add Wear to that list also. Knicks are trying to sign Smith, Shved, Thomas and Almundson, so really 1 spot open if we sign all of them, two if we sign 2 of the 4. Antekotopo is going to have to really show he is ready to make the squad. I would give weight to Ledo since he is hanging onto his NBA career by a thread and he is surely putting the work in. I think he shows and produces, but hey, I always root for the underdog. Antekotopo, I don't remember him impressing in the D league. 15th man, maybe but he is going to need to provide more then a couple highlight dunks, we already have Williams for that.

Not really. Thanasis is practically garenteed and he will likely be in the rotation as a SF. Ledo signed a two year deal with us this past season. Gomez is going to be stashed because his buyout is too big. Thomas shouldn't even be considered. The guys who are being considered for the last two forward spots on this team are
-Jason Smith(ugh!)
-Coletrain
-Bargs(Noooo!)
-Amundson
-Labeyrie
-Kendrick Perkins (rumors indicate)

This is what keeps me coming back to this site, we are all so passionate about the 15th man! Either Antekotopo is ready or he isn't, I think we will see in summer league. The only thing that is guaranteed is that he will have a chance to show it.

I think Antetokoumpo is almost done. His agent has stated that Knicks plan on resigning him. Plus, it would make no sense for him not to sign. Phil convinced him not to sign a lucrative deal from overseas to be groomed in the D League while he hones his skills on the notion to be prepared for next season. Phil will look kinda stupid not signing him and it would have been a 2nd rounder.

Amundson should get a spot and i don't see Galloway being a impact player. Labeyrie is very interesting tho

So, has he honed his skills?

See the roster at 13 right now..we should leave 1 or 2 spots open for a summer league guy.
