Though he may not want to "say it" it seems like he wants to start NEW with a franchise that can sign both players to MAX deals
Some teams must make minor trades to do so or possible force a trade with ONE of them

Jordan doesn't want to be known as the 3rd player behind CP3 and Blake Griffen, and just the defender/rebounder on that team
He already has a MAX 5year deal from Clippers from the START so that would make the most sense

We could have done such a move had we NOT signed Affalo and use the assets needed to unload Calderon and maybe Early
Still with Cole Aldrich's early bird rights to have the FULL MLE as well
Though it would have been even easier had CA taken a real discount with these guys...
